CB12 Whitening Mouthwash | REVIEW

Hello everyone!

I've been so busy recently with it being my birthday so it's taken me a while to get round to blogging but finally it's time to review the CB12 whitening mouthwash! This product claims prevent bad breath instantly and give you odour free breath for 12 hours. I generally don't have an issue with bad breath personally but I wanted something to just conquer that bad morning breath before I head off to work so I thought I'd give this a go! It also claims to have a whitening effect after 2 weeks which is even better!

I was sent this product for free to review, however this in no way affects my opinion toward this product.  I will review it as though I paid for it myself and give the most truthful comments that I can!

This can be bought from most places such as Boots or Amazon and it costs around the £15 mark which for a mouthwash, is quite expensive... The instructions state to rinse your mouth with 10ml of mouthwash for 30 seconds - 1 minute, gargle then spit out.

I've definitely given this mouthwash a good test and I can certainly say it does exactly what it says on the tin. I experience no bad breath when using this mouthwash however, since you are to use 10ml night and morning, you get through it super quick. With it costing so much money in the first place this is the only major downfall of this product. Though if you aren't fussed about the price and just want something you know will get rid of bad breath then this is a fantastic find for you!

I've had a fair few comments that my teeth are looking whiter and I, myself, have even noticed! So I'm extremely pleased with that because I expected it to conquer bad breath but I didn't have high hopes for the whitening side of this product.

All in all this product has shocked me since I didn't expect it to work as well as it does! The only negatives are the price and when using it for the first time I experienced a slight drying sensation in my mouth but it soon went after a couple of minutes so that's no major issue.

That's all from me today! Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed it. Don't forget to follow and +1 if you did.

Artis Dupe Brush set under £4 | Review

Hello everyone!

I'm back with yet another beauty bargain review. I'm constantly finding amazing yet affordable products that I can't wait to share with you all! I've seen sooo many mixed reviews of the Artis dupe brushes all over YouTube that I just had to give them a go to find out for myself. On Amazon you can find these under the name of "Ularma 4Pcs/Set Toothbrush Shape Eyebrow Makeup Foundation Brush Powder Brush Kits" - bit of a mouthful but worth it, trust me! They cost me around £4 with delivery. That's like £1 per brush which is incredible in comparison to the Artis Brushes priced at around £40/50 per brush. Madness!

So here's a little view of how the brushes look. First things first: I didn't have very high expectations of this set considering the price but I was pleasantly surprised! I waited around a week for these to be delivered which is nothing to moan about in all honesty. As you can see the design of the handle is nothing special, but for the price that was to be expected. They aren't ugly - just plain and simple. Can I just jump right in and say that these brushes are so incredibly soft?! I can't even begin to describe how good they feel on my face, and they apply makeup like a dream. They make it so quick and easy to apply products it's unreal! Especially when it comes to foundation, I've never found a brush that spreads and blends so well! The handle makes it really easy to grip and take control of the brush too which I absolutely love. I don't have the Artis brushes to make a direct comparison but I know they are incredibly similar in size, shape and softness. The only huge difference from what I can see is the handle design and the extremely ridiculous price!

The only real negative thing I have to say about this brush set is since they were so cheap they don't come with any kind of description of which each brush is for. I know this isn't necessary as it's pretty straight forward but for a beginner who might not be aware of which brushes to use where - it would definitely come in handy. One more thing I noticed too, especially with the larger face brush, the handle is pretty weak... I can't see it lasting too long as I'm fairly heavy handed. But for the price you seriously can't complain! I would recommend these to anybody and out of 5 I would give this set a high 4/5!

All in all, I am seriously shocked by how good this set was! I can't put these brushes down at the moment and I'm so glad I found them. Let me know what you think in the comments below! Also don't forget to follow and +1! My Instagram is - Sarahmua_

£1 Primark Lashes | Review

Hello all!
I'm back again with a quick review for you on the £1 lashes in the beauty section of Primark. So I spotted these the other day whilst I was having a nose around the store and I was in need of some lashes so I thought why not give them a go? You can't turn down cheap lashes like that! I really liked the look of these lashes so I picked up two pairs to try out. I got these in  "dramatic" and "full look".

First impressions? Useless... The first set of lashes I opened were the full look ones and as I was peeling them away from the plastic some of the lashes actually fell off the band. So of course I wasn't even going to bother trying to apply them so that was a waste of my precious pound coin but anyway, I proceeded to open the other pack and was much more gentle when removing the lashes. The dramatic lashes had a much more sturdy and thicker lash band which was good in the sense that they didn't actually fall off like the other pair but bad because it was much harder to disguise the lash band.

However, I must say I was very impressed that they contained eyelash glue. For £1 to get a pair of lashes and glue you can't knock it. Although I did decide to use my own glue from eyelure just to be on the safe side. Much to my dissapointment for some reason my eyelash glue didn't get along with these lashes... It just wasn't sticking whatsoever and I have no idea why. So then I decided to use the glue that came with the lashes and that worked out much better for me. I still struggled to get them to stick down though. They did look pretty good though, or so I thought anyway!

Here's how they looked when I had them on. I wouldn't say they look "dramatic" in fact I personally think they look fairly natural! For £1 though I can't complain really... Though if you do decide to pick  up a pair of these lashes be careful when removing them from the plastic! They are very flimsy. I actually managed to get around 3 uses out of these before they got too tacky so they are 100% reusable if you take care of them. They might not be as good quality as the high end brands but you know what they say, you get what you pay for! I would definitely purchase these eyelashes again.

So that's all from me today!
Let me know if you've tried any other Primark Beauty products before and what you thought! I want to give their line a go but not sure what to expect. So let me know what you thought in the comments.

My Bedroom Tour

So I've recently been splashing the cash over at IKEA to redesign my bedroom. I'm in love with that place, like seriously! I walk around that shop and plan the layout of my future house and it gets me all giddy and excited for the future. Kinda cringe to say that but it's the truth!

I wish I had taken before and after shots of my room because the transformation is incredible! But anyway, I didn't so I'll start off with my pride and joy; my vanity unit. This little beauty cost me around £130 and the stool was £20, I absolutely love it. The table has a glass top which means it's super easy to wipe any make-up off when I'm making a mess (which I do an awful lot). It also has a long draw underneath with smaller compartments that I use to put some of my eye-shadow pallets and things in. I can't fit it all in because my collection is rather large but it's definitely handy to put in my everyday makeup in. There are also two smaller drawers on top. The mirror is a good size so it's useful for checking out your outfit in too which is even better! I dressed the mirror up in lights from Primark which cost a couple a quid, they're nothing amazing but they look cute. I feel the mirror alone looked quite plain but I enjoy that about it.

Next I wanted to talk about the wall storage unit I grabbed from IKEA too! I really love this, I think it's so nice and modern. The boxes come seperately and you can choose what colour fabric you would like. This unit can also be placed on the floor but I wanted it on my wall, its soooo useful as it gives you lots more floor space. I also got the artifical plant from IKEA to dress it up a little and some more fairy lights around the outside.

I also picked up some fab wall decorations from Primark home and a couple from B&M. Both of these places are perfect for cute little vintage decor which is right up my street. The dressers either side of my vanity unit are also from IKEA and they are the perfect height against each other! The chest of drawers are very simple but that's what I love about them. They are very modern and fit in with my theme perfectly!

Now onto the other side of my room! This is the least favourite area of my room I must admit. The wardrobe is also from IKEA however I plan to invest in a new one. I do think it is cute and it fits in the little alcove perfectly but I'm not keen on the transparent windows. I feel like it makes the room look messy because you can see the clutteredness of my inside wardrobe. Is clutteredness even a word? Pretty sure I just made that up... Anway, I do however love my full length mirror!  This was only a couple of quid from B&M  and it means I can check myself out and make sure my outfit is on point. The cute vintage shoe rack you can see on the floor next to my wardrobe is also another purchase from B&M's vintage collection.  It definitely fits in nicely with my decor I do believe.

This shows the layout of the other wall a little more clearly. I've not got much to say about this if I'm honest. The small drawers have been in the family for years so god knows where they are from but I'm hoping to get rid soon! The little storage box on the floor was from home bargains and the lamp was again from B&M. You can tell my favourite places to shop, right? I definitely love a bargain me. Funny little story about that photo frame on my bedside table, I actually bought it from a 24hr ASDA when I was super drunk for 50p because I thought it was such a bargain and I wanted to put 4 of my selfies in there and hang it on my wall. Of course sober Sarah saw sense and didn't do that... But yeah.

...And this is where the magic happens! I am going to be getting a double bed but I haven't found the perfect one yet. I think a single bed looks really silly in my room for some reason. I love the way my curtains match the boxes on my wall though, I find it super cute! I also want a new duvet colour because I think grey blends in too well with my wallpaper so I might have to get a white and black one or something along those lines. Oh and for anyone wondering, the wallpaper is from Homebase.

And last but by no means least...  I wanted to show you guys the latest addition to my bedroom! This cute little garment rack that I picked up from B&M also matches my shoe rack. So cute. I will be putting clothes on here in some form of order to make it fit in with my room better. I'm not sure if I'll be keeping it in the same place either, I think a rearrangement is in order!

But there you have it! My bedroom tour. There's definitely areas of improvement still, but I don't think I'll ever have it perfect. There will always be something new that I want!

Say goodbye to Sweaty Betty! | Review

First things first, I was sent this product as a free sample to try out but by no means will this affect my opinion. I will always provide an honest review to the best of my ability!

So now that little disclaimer is out of the way, I just wanted to say how excited I actually am to have found a product that works so well. I've never found anything like this in my entire life, like ever. An antiperspirant that genuinely works.

This roll-on is produced by a brand called Perspirex and I was sent this in "comfort". They do have an original and a plus version too. For those of you who aren't aware, Perspirex is an antiperspirant that protects against sweat and odour for 5 days!! You apply it at night to completely dry skin (once or twice a week) and there is no need to re-apply in the morning.

I'll be honest, I didn't have high expectations of this roll-on and I didn't think it would stop me from sweating. I was shocked that it actually worked and I was even more so shocked that it worked for as long as it said it would!

I work in a very warm environment so I'm always conscious of being sweaty/smelly so I've been looking for something like this for years. I often find with ordinary roll-on it takes far too long to dry and then leaves white marks on clothing, however you don't have to worry about that when using this! My armpits stayed as dry as a bone throughout a 10 hour shift where I was running around like a lunatic. I was absolutely amazed and I smelt fresher than a daisy!

This is also perfect for those with sensitive skin as it is fragrance free. Although I personally don't suffer with sensitive skin so I tend to spray a little bit of deodorant on to give my pits a nice extra scent. It's a genuine life saver I'm telling you now! I do believe you can buy this from most pharmacies such as Boots or even ASDA for example. It is also available to order online from Amazon! No more embarrassing sweat patches and no more embarrassing smells. I've used all of the top brands and none of them work anywhere near as good as this. I 100% recommend this to anybody!

I hope you've enjoyed reading and I hope I've helped you somewhat!! Don't forget to follow, +1 and comment with any questions.

Are lip enhancers the answer? | Review

Simply put,
- No.

I ordered the three different sizes of lip enhancer from Amazon and they are supposedly for different shape/size of lip and none of them did me any justice. The small oval was far too small to even go around my lips and my lips are hardly like Kylie Jenner... The medium oval was the perfect size for me but it took a while to be able to get them to actually stay on my lips by suction. The large probably worked the best since it was round in shape although I wouldn't recommend any of these. Not even to my worst enemy.

The instructions read that you should wet the area around the lips and put your lips into the enhancer and gently suck for 15-30 seconds. After one go I didn't see any difference whatsoever. I tried this about 4 times and finally saw some form of increase in the size of my lips but it doesn't last long at all - around 5 minutes.  It leaves a lot of redness around the lip area and causes the lips to turn dark blue/brown almost like bruising and it actually starts to feel painful.

Personally I think they seem to do more harm than good and I'm not going to try and sugar coat it because I genuinely don't recommend anyone buying these.. But that's my opinion, I don't know if I ordered a bad copy of these or what the issue was but they were certainly a waste of my £20!! I can't stress enough how disappointed I was by this product. I know many people who rant and rave about these lip enhancers but I just don't see how. I would usually show a before and after picture but the after picture looked so terrible I couldn't bring myself to post it,

So it looks like I'll be sticking to over lining my lips for now! If anyone has any recommendations to get juicy plump lips let me know in the comments below?

New Look, Zara & TOPSHOP haul

Hello all,

I've been a very busy girl lately when it comes to clothes shopping! I just wanted to show you a couple of my favourite items I picked up from my clothes haul last week, where I got them from and how much they cost.

My local shopping centre isn't the best, I have to travel about 20 miles if I want to do a massive haul which I couldn't be bothered with so unfortunately I have been limited to New Look, Zara and Topshop. Nevertheless, I do adore these shops. Though I do wish they were bigger so I had more choice but hey-ho, I definitely picked up some gorgeous buys in my opinion!

So let's start off with Topshop! As soon as I walked in I saw three huge sale racks and I got a warm feeling in my tummy, I was just so excited!! My boyfriend let me loose and I dug straight into the sales. First I picked up a gorgeous pair of open toe boots for only £25! They were reduced from £60 and I was so so happy they had my size I just couldn't walk away from them. They have a block heel with a gold rim across the bottom and a strap with a gold buckle at the back. The boot material is actually made of leather so it is soft against your foot and they are literally the comfiest things!!

The second thing I picked up from the sales was a whiteish/creamish high neck jumper. I am so in love with this and the way it falls. Especially since I have put on some chunk recently so it hides my tummy because it is quite loose. So here is the outfit I have thrown together! The bag I am wearing is also from topshop but I got it months back. I can't get over how much I love this outfit and the shoes really pull it all together!

Now onto New Look. This is where I started to realise I have a slight shoe obsession... However, in my defence, my wardrobe seriously lacks sandals... But not anymore! New Look's shoe collection is unreal, and they are so affordable. So firstly I picked up a plain jane pair of black sandals with the tiniest block heel. They have a cute gold buckle on the strap but other than that they are pretty basic, which is what I love about them! They look gorgeous with a denim skirt and are perfect for summer. Even if our British summers are laughable, at least you can look fab in a cute pair of shoes! I think I picked them up for around £12. Such a great bargain and they are very high quality. I'm also a student so I get 10% discount with an NUS card, if you don't have one of these you should definitely invest in one by the way! That card has paid for itself 100 times over seriously!

The second pair of shoes I grabbed from New Look are again, a pair of sandals but with a heel. They are of a suede material and have a strap across the toes and a crossed strap at the back. The block heel has a gold rim along the bottom and they are beautiful! In all honestly, the front strap has been rubbing my toes but they are so pretty I just can't not wear them! I'm hoping the more wear I get out of them the less they will rub. These cost around £23 I think? Such a bargain for a gorgeous high quality shoe!

Finally I had a quick look around Zara and I spotted this gorgeous striped top for just £20! I absolutely couldn't resist it and I think it looks gorgeous with these heels from New Look and I paired it with a bag I had also previously bought from New Look. This is potentially an outfit I would wear on a special occasion like going out for a nice meal or a few cocktails.
